Janet Checkman

Janet Checkman is Director of Business Development & Marketing for Jeffrey Berman Architect.  She has 30 years of experience in communications, business development and marketing for design, healthcare, finance and entertainment organizations.  She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her M.A. from Columbia University.

Ms. Checkman has worked for a diverse list of clients that includes NYU Langone Medical Center, Filmways, Inc. and the Charles Eames Office and has developed business with most of the major hospitals in the New York City area.

Ms. Checkman has worked with Jeffrey Berman Architect for the last 8 years.  She has been affiliated with the Association of Real Estate Women, Health Leaders of New York/ACHE, the Society for Design Administration and the Society for Marketing Professionals Services.
